Sadness :(

What can cause sadness,
misery beyond belief?
Sometimes it's when you get more or less,
or when your enemy becomes the chief.

Sometimes it's the human mind,
with its infinite machinations.
Leaving you an empty rind,
without a scrap of patience.

But what really tears you apart,
is when someone breaks your heart.

I think I ain't ever seen,
someone so lovely with a sheen.

Someone who could make me so heartsick,
who just makes me wanna cry.
It makes me wanna beat myself with a stick,
and I'm just much too shy...

Someone who can be as annoying as h**l
yet make me find humor in a shell.
Though this last fact takes away shine,
I know she can never be mine...

My weekend (apparently)

All I can say is that this weekend is gonna be dull. Probably just going to sit around on a couch doing nothing. Probably going to get all fat and lazy. Unless my parents force me out of the house. Then I lounge around outside. :)

My Preferred Profession

My ultimate goal is to be president and change the world. Hopefully for the better... But what I want to do in the interim would be to either be a politician, a historian, a football player or a person in the military. Whatever branch I'm in I would be happy with. :)

Observation of Art Class

The art class was quite disciplined and yet joked around quite a bit. I really wonder how they got so far without squabbling. They were weird... :)

The Frogs by Aristophanes

The play "The Frogs" by Aristophanes is meant to be a comedy. It is about the god Dionysus, who tries to resurrect the poet Euripides, because Athens is in much trouble. After many misadventures in Hades, Aeschylus beats out Euripides in a competition so Dionysus decides to resurrect Aeschylus over Euripides.

Blunders

There are some big mistakes you can make,
for which your life can take.
Somtimes it is from making fun,
for which you won't see the light of the sun.
The one thing you won't live to regret or sue,
is if IT gets annoyed enough to sit on you.

Chinese New Year

I really didn't do anything for Chinese New Year. Basically we celebrated it early on the 1st of January where we get a bunch of cash. :) It was fun though.

Favorite story character

Apparently it was Odysseus, the main character of the Odyssey. It happens after the Iliad which was when a bunch of people were trying to get this person named Helen back from Troy. They win but Odysseus still has to get home. After like 20 years he gets back, beats up some suitors and lives happily ever after.

Poem of fulfillment

What happens when you waste,
your entire life eating paste?
Then you move on,
for something way bigger to chew on.
Two double quarter pounders,
 and add in a giant flounder.
We have an example for this life
for it teaches in school, giving us much strife.

Moral: Don't waste your life. Don't eat so much that you might... Never mind. No way you could ever be THAT fat.

I love snow. Something you'll never see in Singapore... Just look at it!

 One place I love is Seoul, Korea. Even though they make you go to school on saturday, Korea definitely makes up for it a lot with good food, cheap LANing rates and snow. LOTS of snow. :)

Obesity

I think I won't ever see, something so ugly as obesity.
Something that could kill your cat, with 350 pounds of fat.

Something so fat, soft and squishy, with marks, of obesity.
You know who it is, therefore, who will give you a brain sore.
